Sign Language Signs, Inc. was founded in August of 2003 by Richard Calvin and Melissa Prielipp. Both individuals have quite a background in signs and graphics. Richard, having worked for a local sign company for two years, has experience with signs and truck lettering. Melissa has advanced experience in design & print.

With help from family and friends, the two founded Sign Language. After moving into the shop of long time friend Brandon Swift and his business, Music Masters Electronics, Sign Language was quickly on it's way to making a strong impression on the Lenawee County area. In 2005, they relocated to a larger facility of their own.

Rick and Melissa have taken their business forward in a strong way. Sign Language provides a very wide range of services with quality, speed and affordability in mind. Services include all types of signs, banners and full color vehicle graphics. In addition, printing services are available from business cards and letterhead to postcards and stickers.

Sign Language provides its customers with great service with a smile. Their honest, speedy service and close attention to detail is making a big impression, and will certainly lead Sign Language into a lasting position as one of Lenawee's leading signage providers.

About the founders

Richard Calvin is a 2000 graduate of Sand Creek High School. Rick spent two years at Siena Heights University as an art major. He performs installations and oversees all jobs. Rick's hobbies include archery, muscle cars and playing in a band.

Melissa Prielipp is a 2001 graduate of Blissfield High School and obtains a degree in graphic design and web development. Melissa also works for a local printing company and has 7+ years experience in design & print. Design work, material preparation and equipment maintenance are part of her daily routine.
